OUR IP PHONES WILL BE FULLY OPERATIONAL WITH OUR NEW NETWORK STRUCTURE
Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University still uses analog switchboards and telephone infrastructure inherited from Akdeniz University. By modernizing some switchboards with IP supported new generation cards, the first steps of free calls over IP have been taken. As a further stage, making the ALKU telephone infrastructure fully IP-based provides additional benefits such as fixing costs, increasing manageability, ensuring standardization, reducing investment considerably compared to the past when new units are opened, and making call center services available. There are advantages such as providing access to the call center with a click on the web, allowing university staff to work independently of the unit by receiving calls over the wireless network, increasing the existing line capacity to 60 simultaneous lines, increasing the number of telephone numbers to 200 numbers and making the extension capacity unlimited.
