Network and System Management Department

  • Conduct technical work to ensure the continuity of server and network systems established within the Information Processing Department and serving all University units, develop relevant work procedures,
  • Map the physical and logical topology of network infrastructures across all campus locations, manage network inventory, 
  • Plan and execute the necessary technical infrastructure work for the continuity of internet access and optimization of data traffic on campuses,
  • Continuously monitor internet usage traffic on the central system, analyze and report errors, intervene in problematic areas by tracking the performance of active devices, and ensure system continuity,
  • Determine the hardware requirements for the network and system infrastructure, prepare implementation plans for installation and distribution,
  • Take the necessary systemic measures within the scope of authority and responsibility regarding information confidentiality, security, and the protection of personal data,
  • Taking the necessary measures to protect servers and user computers against any unauthorized access and cyber threats that may come from inside or outside,
  • Planning, designing, setting up, and performing performance improvement work for the computer communication network,
  • Performing the necessary network infrastructure work for internet and network connections for existing and newly established units within the university.
